Covid-19 crisis: Societe Generale Assurances strenchthens its commitments to support its professionnals policyholders

_

Societe Generale Assurances reinforces its commitments to its professional clients, VSB and SMB in the hotel, café-restaurant, tourism, culture, sports and events sectors in order to support them in the relaunching of their activity.

Following the solidarity measures, up to 100 million euros, already taken last April to support its policyholders, clients  of Societe Generale group’s banking networks and to support the French economy, Societe Generale Assurances responds positively to the appeal launched by the Minister of the Economy and Finance, and is as of now committed to:

  • Not increase the contributions of professional multi-risk insurance contracts policies in 2021;
  • Maintain all guarantees on contracts for companies that would experience delays in the payment of contributions in the context of the pandemic during the first quarter of 2021;
  • Set up for 2021 a free assistance cover in case of hospitalization related to Covid-19 for company managers and their employees under their contracts.

“These new solidarity measures are naturally in line with our commitments as a responsible insurer. Supporting our professional clients is for us a priority in the difficult period we are going through” states Philippe Perret, Chief Executive Officer of Societe Generale Assurances.
