Protect - To be a responsible insurer
Protecting our clients against risk is a fundamental commitment. We leverage our expertise to anticipate, assess, and manage risks, and to offer optimal protection solutions tailored to our policyholders’ needs.
As a responsible insurer, our mission is to support our clients at every stage of their lives by providing insurance solutions that are tailored, high-performing, and accessible. We work every day to deliver long-term protection by combining innovation with close relationships, placing customer satisfaction at the heart of our strategy. Because every situation is unique, we offer a comprehensive range of solutions designed to meet individual needs, whether to plan for the future, secure assets, or cope with life’s uncertainties.
Once again this year, in life insurance savings, the returns on our euro funds have been highly competitive. For 2025, we maintained a high average rate of 3.12% on our life insurance savings products, 50 basis points above the market average in 2024. This performance reflects the quality of euro fund management, supported by an effective diversification strategy and prudent use of financial reserves, which, after allocation, remain among the highest in the market at 5.2%.
We continue to gain market share in life insurance savings, with outstandings reaching €158 billion (+8% vs. 2024), and recorded a historic net inflow of €7.3 billion in 2025. Our market share in France for net inflows stands at 12.2%, nearly double our share of outstandings.
We offer a broad and diversified range of euro funds and unit-linked investment options, tailored to the varying needs and investment horizons of our clients. In particular, we have developed strong expertise and a range of solutions in real assets (infrastructure, private equity, and private debt). <meta content="text/html; charset=us-ascii" http-equiv="Content-Type" /> <style type="text/css">a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } </style> By the end of 2025, €1.4 billion in unlisted assets in unit-linked funds had been raised (since 2019).
In line with this momentum, we are strengthening our contribution to financing the real economy by developing investment solutions in private assets, notably through funds dedicated to security and sovereignty. These initiatives support the financing of French and European SMEs and mid-sized companies in strategic sectors such as defense, cybersecurity, and aerospace, which require long-term investment.
We offer a fully omnichannel model combining online services, telephone support, and in-branch assistance, with offers available 24/7 and innovative services. Our clients can independently carry out arbitrages and contributions fully online and access personalized returns on their euro funds. More than 170,000 SG retail banking clients have already adopted the “My Retirement Companion” online service to prepare their retirement plans, and 1.5 million SG clients now have access to “My Savings Footprint,” which enables savers to assess the environmental impact of their life insurance, retirement, and capitalization contracts. This digital service, launched in late 2024, was developed with Carbon4 Finance to meet growing expectations for transparency and education in investment.
As a leading player in the French retirement and employee savings market, we manage €32.6 billion in assets as of the end of 2025 (+17% vs. 2024), offering a comprehensive framework to support individuals, professionals, and corporate clients in preparing for retirement.
In protection, we offer accessible, simple solutions tailored to our policyholders’ needs, while ensuring expert support in the event of claims or unforeseen situations. Our digital services enhance this proximity by simplifying contract management and providing optimized subscription journeys through our fully omnichannel model.
In 2025, 46% of motor and home insurance policies were subscribed online via Customer Relationship Centers. Online claims reporting is also increasing: 36% in home insurance (+8 points vs. 2024) and 74% in personal protection (+32 points vs. 2024).
Finally, we aim to optimize resource use and promote the circular economy. In 2025, material claims in motor insurance reached a repair parts reuse rate of 47.5%, with 16% of parts sourced from the circular economy.
Customer satisfaction is at the core of our growth.
Our commitment is reflected in strengthened prevention measures and close support, particularly in response to climate risks. In January 2026, alongside four major players in insurance and risk management, we announced the creation of Geoya, a platform designed to help policyholders reduce their vulnerability. This initiative is part of our risk prevention policy and provides a tangible protection tool for our clients.
Our commitment also translates into enhanced prevention measures and close support, particularly during climate-related events, ensuring personalized relationships and a strong field presence.
Finally, the increasing use of data and the deployment of artificial intelligence solutions contribute to smoother customer journeys, reduced processing times, and improved case management. By enhancing responsiveness and service quality, these technologies sustainably enrich the customer experience while making employees’ work easier.
For example, our voicebot Iris modernizes and streamlines customer call handling (around 2 million calls per year) by identifying callers and directing them to the appropriate service. In addition, we use artificial intelligence for document processing, with the automated analysis of approximately 600,000 pages per year, helping to accelerate case processing and free up time for advisors.
Being a responsible insurer means being a partner that protects, supports, and anticipates the needs of its clients
